Blazing beam Damage

ME and my friend are both fm He is lower than me by 30 ap me dmg is always higher than his then something strange happened i reached lvl 10 HM it gave me extra ap i noticed that my dmg  is reduced i was gett 16k dmg on faction captains now i am getting 15k max and i asked my friend he said he is getting 15k max too ........P.s he didn't change any thing or upgrade any thing the only difference that i reached 10 HM .....soooo weird

Is the target burning. And AP isn't everything, you may have lower crit damage or piercing than him.

Actually we get almost same crit gmd and  piercing  the only difference is the ap cuz i got more ap gems than him

How many tests have you done? If you have tested it for some minutes, forget it. As said before, your crit damage and piercing is also important. Almost same is not same and all skills vary very much in damage. Keep also in mind that your weapon effects (crit damage and crit chance) don't always trigger. Did you Keep an eye on that, too? If only ap is a difference, you will do moe damage. Don't give a shit on some few numbers.
