Destroyer - Shield Blitz

Pressing V (shield) then 1 (blitz) will make you roll into an armoured rock and jump towards the enemy. 

Does this do anything extra or is it just a special animation?

I've heard people say it continues blocking during the animation, but haven't tested it myself.

Yes, it does continue to block until Blitz is finished. Confirmed through testing,

Take into account though that people can shield break you while you're in the animation, so it can bring a risk too and can end up being counterproductive.

Yes, we need Hongmoon shield skills to make it unbreakable! I believe, it will make shield blitz jump secure as well.
