Salvaging weapons?

Whats the best place to farm purple weapons to salvage for elemental powders?

Eh I'd just use the blue ones. Actually what I do now is do dailies then take all those cold weapons you get, sell them for 8-10 silver, buy moonwater weapons (level 40) for about 5-6 silver then salvage those as they're 100% then transmute the weapon element bundle (15 soulstones, 30 weapon powders, 1.5g fee, chance for 1-3 bonus TRADEABLE stones). You'll ALWAYS get 3 of the untradable ones as far as I know though.

The purple weapons out of the Brightstone boxes can give 3-4.  If you're in the mood for farming instances, that's a pretty quick way to do it, and you can get a chest and a blue weapon, too.
