Bug or Mechanic on webbing?

So today I was fighting a destroyer in arena, and noticed every time I webbed him his body would start rotating towards me so I couldn't get behind him to stealth during the web. Is this a legit mechanic or something? I have never seen this before but I am only gold so I didn't know if it was high level stuff or hacking...

i got this exactly what happened to me as well vs a destroyer (probably the same scumbag)  but in this case it was him sitting in ice trap and facing me constantly as i tried to get behind him for stealth opener

 

this is a game breaking exploit NCsoft need to fix this or ban the cheaters

Once I realize its a bot I change my skill setup for poison/CC and win with points. Normally this causes the game to "bug" out for me though.
