Good gems besides Amethyst/Diamond?

For amethyst and diamond it seems pretty obvious to go with life leach and attack, but I'm not sure what to go with for gems to fill my other slots.

 

Right now I main assassin and randomly get blocks/evades, I don't really focus on stun/knockdown for PvE much, don't entirely care about PvP stones that much, but I don't feel as if much of all these block/evade trigger stones are that useful considering it's only random for my class anyway.

You could go damage ruby, and with the eventual extra slot the blue which grants auto crit on the next attack if you get blocked or evaded.

i would say :

life drain

25 attk power

2.5sec stun

xxx additional dmg on stun ..etc

 

 

PVP or PVE, there's always someone who will stun the target to cancel a skill, and since gems kinda expensive, i will go for em.... u r an assassin as you said so u should 1oo% go for that :X and tbh ... even in pve .. having stun/knockdown sometimes save the run from a definite wipe :X  bloodshade is a good example :)

For ruby either additional damage or preferably if you can get one the 1/2 critical hit rubies. You could also run a peridot that gives cc immunity and boosted crit rate on dodge.
