I can't even log into the game at all the log in screen when you first open the game freezes the tells me login failed error 42 and i know i am putting my password in right i am U.S btw

And it was at this moment, NCsoft knew, that they *cricket*ed up.

 

Restarting the server would be the simpliest thing to do but they otherwise put useless hotfix xD

I tried using a vpn from canada .. connected to a canada server and i am able to login z_z but the lag is op..

 

Without the vpn i am having the same error as everyone rip

Well it has been a few minutes. More than a few, actually. I've reset my password, restarted my PC. Nothing.

 

Anyone else having this error?

I have had the same issue; and the game crashed on me twice today.

There's no file modification going on. It's literally using the game files to log in without using the launcher. Nothing illegal.

The host "updater.nclauncher.ncsoft.com" is accessible. So, it isn't a routing issue.

 

P.S. The other launching way described above is just direct launch for the client without updater. It wont start if the client is out of date now.
