Salvage problem

i tried to salvage an item but i cant i right click on in after i click the salvage icon and nothing happens! plz help

Does the item turn grey when you click salvage, if it does you can't salvage that item? What is it your trying it on?

it has a green lock on the items i wan tto salvage ( and can )

green lock means you have overflow inventory, clear that out first, its a chest icon on your bottom right icons
