how can blade master make ppl unconscious, ?

i dont know the combo, it, it says on basic attack, on canceling defense with kick, renders ppl unconscious, not sure how to pull it off? i tried to kick an enemy thats blocking, not working, 

 

they just get knocked down or stunned?

You have to hit with LMB after. I think Hajoon teaches it to you at some point in the start. xD

but that means i cannot use the knockdown talent on kick or?

You can use the knockdown talent. You simply KICK someone who is blocking or casting a spell (so that the STUN animation goes off) then LMB them once. They will go flying and be asleep for 30 seconds.
