First of I know that crafting things cost money, 

But where I lose my mind is, that I thought that only cost money when the ordre is done. Not when you have to place and ordre also?

Uhmm... let me guess, you pick the finished craft item with that bird delivery...? yea it cost you money for the delivery...

but if you just ask politely to the crafting rep, it would handover your finished craft item free of delivery charges...

Yes. it's one of their many money sinks in the game. You can offset it by selling what you don't use on the market.
