Giamt Enemy Crabs

I seem to have encountered an issue during this quest where, after killing the 50 small crabs, my spear gun disappears and objective changes to kill a giant crab with the spear gun but I am unable to pick up another spear gun. I have tried all three weapon racks (icon/prompt for Press F to use item never appears) and I have also tried logging out and back in, zoning, and changing channel. Still no solution.

This happened to me too!

 

I abandoned the quest and picked it up again and it worked fine. 

 

It seems to bug if you kill all 50 small crabs before the giant one.
