  1. FIX THE VALENTINE EVENT OR WE RIOT

Let our voices be heard, and pas it along your friends https://www.change.org/p/ncsoft-corporation-ncsoft-perverted-valentines-day-this-needs-to-change
  2. FIX THE VALENTINE EVENT OR WE RIOT

    1. I totally against this event 2. This is the second event that basically f'ed up my enjoyment of the game BnS, Riftrealm supply chain was the first. (but that one is more um... the bar was set to high) 3. ... nevermind that one that's to offtopic going into it but making raven gear cheaper missed the mark casual player still missing the boat with that one. Yeah well who had the bright idea to make it a PVP event... yes I know there are PVP players out there and kudo's to them but I and a lot of other players are disliking or have no interested in PVP. And I think that will be at least greater percentage of the player base so by doing this event as a PVP version was a bad idea and puts NCsoft in a bad light. The moment I saw it on the announcement stream I was like ow f*** it not doing that. Next time if you running out of idea's for a event please repeat the one from the year before rather go for the "they are not working hard on idea's" then going with a really bad idea ans p*** off a great part of ya player base. Be mindfull of other mmo's cricket
  3. Realmrift Supply Chain is way too hard for an event

Yeah can Comfirm that that fase started and i was at the lever.... and lever was not working
  4. BDO is a unbelievable time sink (in my eyes) but b2p is in my eyes not a reason to compensate for bad connections... so thumbs up for that. BnS or better said NCsoft west well they should be working on ping time overall, it's hilarious that a Russian illegal beta version has a lower ping then the legal updated version. They blame most of the time our ISP's or the interconnects to Germany... but sorry that's not gonna fly anymore. Premium although I pay and it it's not really a good deal yeah we have discounts, ahead in login que (not needed anymore) wardrobe. But it's still lacking Premium should have across the Hongmoon store discounts, and more. Anyways my two cents, Enjoy your day :) Silverwolvie
  5. Bad Community, why?

I get flamed by this but not only NA, EU has the same problem besides of trying to copy some NA things. In regards to your Asian culture part yeah I totally agree here they have lot's more respect.
  6. Bad Community, why?

Toxicity.. in MMO games are everywhere although your mileage may vary per game. The why it always makes me wonder, some root into frustration some just in anonymity of the person behind the screen. Anonymity makes it easy to say things, which go inside with frustration about the game. I play a lot of games from FPS to MMORPG there is not any of those games where the community is perfectly nice. How do I deal well basically I ignore 99% of it. When I make a clan or guild I keep an eye on my members, if I see any toxic behavior I warn them if they keep it up... kick If your skin is not big enough sorry you just not clan/guild material for me. If I encounter toxic behavior towards me the person ends up in my ignore list. If that behavior is in the extreem I make a support ticket with screenshots and hope they deal with it (results may vary per company) Myself I am not free of jackass behavior but I never whisper somebody from the start mostly it's in response depending on the game. Sometimes it's with words, sometimes with actions example in WoW as a healer I let the group wipe if one of the party members is toxic. In a other game I kick toxic member just before we win the mission.. yeah I am not nice against toxic behavior. I will use game mechanics against them to punish toxic behavior. On the other side I am a helpful person although not super social. If I see a question I answer if I have the time. Low levels If I see them in trouble I help. I seldom make parties for quest if I see somebody on the same quest but if they party me up mostly I do not refuse (depends a bit on how far I am) If I kill a mini boss at the end of a quest line and a non party member misses the kill I stay and wait for the respawn to help them. I never demand other players to have the perfect gear setup. I never kick people if they are to low lvl for a dungeon, I will advice them or just hope we have enough dps to get through it. (they die a lot mostly) So atm what is my idea of BnS well because it's so toxic most of the time I have done no recruiting for my clan, except for friends. Besides the frustrations, mostly because of the lag and the non cooperative behavior of dungeon runs. I don't even start about bots. I am not even sure I stay in BnS. Like I said I can deal with toxic behavior but I also look at the total package.
  7. Game-Server Latency Issue Report Thread

Ok copy that sorry if I came across snippy :)
  8. Game-Server Latency Issue Report Thread

And if you check further in the thread I did. with tcproute there is only one node that is hidden and returns a time out. That node 6 and that one is outside the network of my ISP.
  9. BnS not showing up in Task Manager

Nope works fine for me see the the game in my taskmanager and resource monitor. besides I have the nagging idea GG is turned of since a few updates ago..
  10. Hey hello, As promised a small guide for latency testing BnS. Because the servers have there IP address hidden normal tools in Windows are not able to Ping or Traceroute to the servers. Not sure if this is the same for NA servers but these tools are generally very handy. And It would be nice to have a basic tool ingame for showing latency! So let's start. Go to http://www.elifulkerson.com/projects/tcproute.php and download the following program's: WinPcap tcroute.zip tcping.exe Please note some computers do not have Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and .NET Framework 4 Client Profile. Follow the links on the page to download those even if you are not sure. I will presume that you have those programs installed on your computer. Ok let's go on with the rest. First install WinPcap. Next unpack tcroute.zip to you C: drive, like I did here: Next copy or move tcping.exe to the folder tcproute on your C: drive. With that all done it's time to reboot your PC (this is for WinPcap) After the reboot it time to start testing. First you have to find your servers IP address. Open your Task Manager by press and release the keys Ctrl+Shift+Esc. It will start up with this window: Then you click on More Details. Or it starts with this window: Then you click the tab Performance. And you see this window: Next click on the bottom Open Resource Monitor. You will see this window: To find the IP address to your server click on the tab Network, and tick the box besides Client.exe in Processes With Network Activity. You may have to wait few seconds so it can collects resources. In Network Activity the IP address does not always up like a IP address but as a URL. Don't worry as you can see in the picture the numbers in front ncsoft.com are the IP address. The one with the most data going back and forward plus total is the IP address that's the server you need. The other IP addresses are Login server Marketplace and more. Ow a small reminder if you do these actions right after you logged into BnS you see a lot more IP addresses. Login to your character and wait a little you will see some IP addresses disappear, but one will stand out because of data going back and forwards more so if you start to move around in game. In TCP Connections find that IP address, write it down including the remote port in my case: 206.127.149.12 port 10100 (for you if you are not on starfall crater EU it will be a different address) Time to start troubleshooting for NCSoft. Let's open you command prompt by press and release the keys windows key+R. You will see the Run window enter cmd and click OK. Will see the next window: In that window (in this is why it was important to unpack into C: drive) do the following. cd/ and hit enter cd tcproute and hit enter Now we going to do a trace route type in the following and do not forget the IP address I type here may not be the same as yours: tcproute.exe -i 1 -p 10100 206.127.149.12 and hit enter Again if you are not on starfall crater EU the port and IP address maybe different, replace it for yours. If all is correct you see this: FYI if one of the hops (in this case number 6) times out but the rest of the route goes through it means that the hop times out is hidden. To ping continuously type: tcping.exe -t 206.127.149.12 10100 and hit enter Again if you are not on starfall crater EU the port and IP address maybe different, replace it for yours. if all is correct you see this: That's it if you have any questions please ask them I will try to answer them in a timely fashion. 12. BNS and Win10

yup it's a oem licence so what, never needed any support accept reactivating win 8.1 twice. Been using windows since 3.11, still win 10 reactivating is a hassle compared to win 8.1. No body would get remote access to my hardware ever except people I know and 9 out 10 I will be the one helping them. Anyways we can go hours with this yes it's oem licence it's always better then a pirated one. Unless you willing to pay for a full licence one where you never need support. Besides Google is your friend always.
  13. BNS and Win10

True I stand corrected but is a bigger hassle then with win 8.1. I myself don't bother with it anymore I just buy windows 10 for no less then 20 dollars via Kinguin.
  14. BNS and Win10

Incorrect works fine DX12 is downwards compatible that said I allways install DX9 SDK just to be save for my games. Besides if you are a steam user most games will install DirectX 9 11 what ever they need. Most games that you buy on optical media will do also that.
