I don't see any official post from BnS on banning VPN users per se. Apparently there are posts about people who claim to be banned using VPN, but it could be anything else. For example, playing from a sanctioned country AND using VPN. Or speed hacking, duping, botting .. whatever. A VPN is not a illegal tool by itself, just a service to support correct routing to the server. It's like taking a (paid) taxi instead of the public bus.

Do a traceroute. I have no Idea about the carriers in US/South America, but if you are living in southern Mexico, you may be carried over Cuba(?). And then you are surely blocked. Usually the server farms are in Chicago or Los Angeles(?) for the US BNS Server. I have no idea, I'm from Europe. If the traceroute turns out to be this bad, buy a VPN over Mexico city - Dallas (?) Just as a side note: when I was playing on a US server, the regular trace route is over the atlantic. In some cases I was routed via India and so on ... depends on the carrier.

Only minor bugs, but apparently there's something going south. - small monsters still in dungeon after boss killed and despawned (does not really matter) - I could not resurrect (skills 1+4 did not react). Even escape nor logout did not work (cant logout/escape when dead) - leaving the blue portal after finish threw me out of party into the lobby (not even to SA square where you normally land after leaving party) - 1-2 more minor bugs I forgot It's not causing real problems at the moment, but perhaps you might want to run a check BEFORE it becomes a major problem.

Unlocks Bloodshade Harbour+daily Thanks to EU-players (Hate, etc.) for giving puzzle pieces to put this together

As we all have unlocked both dungeons we have no idea about the requrements anymore. However, there are clues you can follow: - as Heavens Mandate is the repetition of a fight at the altar with Jinsoyun, it might be unlocked by doing YELLOW side quests - often a letter is required to start/unlock something. Press J and go to the tab "Quest letters" - your highest chance is to open the Daily Challange and mouseover the red X. If it says something like "The path of dark arts", you should search for this specific quest. You may want to do all your quest letters by the way to unlock all essentials (except the recurring ones)

When BnS started, it was quite a PvP focused game as I remember. The faction chat was to coordinate people in the open PvP area. But this does not exist anymore. Never have I seen a PvP relevant info in the faction chat within the last months since coming back. So - why are people still using /faction instead of /world? Possible reasons: - I don't want to sell to or buy from the other faction - I don't want to run a dungeon with the other faction - I don't want share my confidential info (e.g. "marketplace/F5 not working") with the other faction - I don't want to reach out to more people

UI issue. Click on the word "Relic" and a dropdown view will appear. Your relics are stored there.

You need to finish the story to unlock the questgiver. Or (I think) you can meet him on the dungeon square for Skysong.

Totally agree. Events should be not for everyone but only for paying people. I suggest an entry ticket for the next event, sold in the Hongmoon shop for 100€. Imagine having actually people playing BnS. On the serious side: This event is just a gear check. There's no skill, there's no mech, there's no fun. They could have just put up a training dummy and made a payout for 500M dps or whatever. Even the monk has more mech than this event. And at this point everyone should ask if this is an "event" at all. They should have called it "loyalty payout" and everyone would be fine.

Questing has been streamlined and you will be given approbiate equipment while leveling. Upgrading (low level) weapons is no longer supported.

"I can no longer control the mouse" - please elaborate. Is your physical mouse moving on its own? You hold onto it but it floats to the ceiling and makes hissing noises? Then your best help would be your local exorcist. Move fast as this might be contagious and your whole family is floating to the ceiling and making devillish sounds. The cost for the exorcist sums up. In case you have a problem with the mouse pointer ingame, try caps lock for permanent release or hold control for temporary actions.

Sometimes when changing lanes, my character is set back on the tile and I'm kind of "lagging" and falling down. Is there a trick to this?

100 keys = 3920 NCcoin ~ 50€ 850 keys = 33.320 NCcoin = 420€ (20k+8k+4k+1,6k packages) I know from other MMOs that there is a failsafe. Means, you get e.g. an outfit token for each 100 key pack. With this, your 50€ does guarantee you an outfit. I'm not sure if one should follow the monetarization of NCsoft. Of course that way people are spending more. But perhaps I'm too used to the failsafe monetarization and do not take part in this gamble.

Thanks. So, can we finish the weekly with 1 boss dead already? I don't want to rally a raid of 12 and have others involved with a damaged weekly.

Old guides say that the bosses spawn every 43 min. I waited and it doesn't work that way. Ingame no one has any other ideas. One single person claimed you have to kill something (not specified) in the basin. So basically we have no information.

Can you please point me to a viable guide? I'm willing to learn as a new player, but the only guide I found is outdated (it begins with 90% phase plus it starts with the X - C phase). I gladly am willing to learn the 50% phase. By now, I've been in several raids and we never hit the 50% as we new players already wipe before by the mechanic.

Joined a raid for Serpents Den. Boss 1 is already dead (due to leader). People leave. We are locked for Serpents Den with Oknal/1st boss dead. Now what? -> tried to get a Serpents Den reset. Unable to find it. Found a lot of resets for Twisted Serpents, but not for Serpents Den. -> I thought that a dead boss is not a problem for finishing the weekly? Can anyone shed some light on this please?

At least one raid is needed to get all 8 weekly quests -> 3 coins for the event I don't see this happen for the majority of the players. Very few are willing to learn mechanics and leaving as they see that Steelbreaker/Serpents can't be run like Twisted/Silversteel.

You don't get the essence put into your inventory. This essence is the daily objective and enables you to speak with Podan/Jakdan to finish the daily. If you kill Hamann multiple times a day there will be no essence after the first as you already finished the daily.

Uhm .. what's your point? We usually have to dispose the low-flying with chainsaws and it's quite a mess to clean up. So be glad they are drifting away. It's always the same in autumn .. raking the leaves, raking the shark offals ....

Hello there, I'm quite new to BnS (played some in 2016) and bid 1 copper in Heavens Mandate on a small stone chest. Quite fast I was called "trash" for bidding which I didn't understand why. Luckily the insult came with a small explanation "his orb, his loot". I'm absolutely fine with this rule as we get 2 orbs per day. But I didn't even know such a rule existed. So - are there other rules out there I should know of before being insulted again?

Hi there, as this game has no classic tank or healer definition, one would expect every class to be equal doing damage. However, I found old posts stating that e.g. a KungFuMaster is always the tank and a summoner is more of a healer than a DamageDealer. As said, these were old posts from 2017. How is the situation now? Is the gunner shooting antibiotics as a healer in endgame? The bard playing death metal on the harp and generating lots of aggro in endgame? I'm especially interested in playing a heal-like class. Thanks for answering ~
