Comeback player - finding party

I'm lvl 42, trying to do the Chapter 7: Bark at The Moon quest and I'm just stuck at the part where I need a party for the Lycandi Den: "Absorbs the Wolf God's Life Force".

I've been searching for a party, but it's been over 30 min and nothing comes up.

Do I really can't complete this on my own?

if its story quest you can, if its sidequest just skip it until you can solo it

It is a story quest but the game doesn't seem to let me enter this red gate without a party

There is nothing in story that requires group.

 

So that is not in any way what you need to do

So what do I need to do?
When I try to enter this red gate, which is where the quest is telling me to go, it prompts me "press F to search for a party"

Any help please?

if the gate is red you can't enter, be it with or without group

check what it says why you can't enter, there is something you haven't done yet you need for this gate to open

 

is it a yellow quest then there should be a letter to read, either right side of screen or in your inventory
