Character gone

After maintenance, my character was gone, so was my husbands character. Still have the appearance saved. Checked that i'm in European server. When starting, the name of the server is different. But Still don't have other choice as I didnt have at first time. Will I really have to do all story again? Wasn't really on the mood for that. After almost 5 hours waiting to be able to restart playing, hope nota to have to go all back.

We would normally recommend to check if you are on the right region indeed. You did mention you checked for that already but also said the name of the server was different, which suggests being on the wrong region ...
