hongmoon Dragoncall/Helix bugged?

So I just unlocked the hongmoon secret for dragoncall/helix move 1.  It shows in correctly in the martial tome but the new effects from a crit simple does not happen. It does not proc an instant cast or add 2 orbs.  I can't seem to find anyone having this problem trying to figure out if it's a new bug or such.

Ok, so after testing it again. It seems this only happens in Simplified Combat Mode. I did actually see the instant recast occur once I turned it off.  If it's not a bug, it should be noted as such. I like using simplified combat, I'm pretty lazy.

Yeah, instant cast DC doesn't work on simplified mode as I think it's too hard to code in every time we crit, and such. I don't think it's a bug but it does suck that it doesn't work in simplified mode.
