crafting quest?

Isn't there a quest to introduce me to crafting and gathering?  I made it to Jadestone. I'm level 20.  I see crafters but never got a quest to that introduces crafting.

There is a crafting quest at level 50 in zaiwei. But don't get too excited, it just lets you talk to every crafting guild there is, and that is it. You can however learn everything with... level 16? 12? something like that. It is just that beginners not have the gold/recoursses anyway, so they might just wait till level 50 because they wouldn't be able to craft anything before anyway.

 

So if you want to learn crafting now, just go and talk to the npc, they let you learn it.

If you are new to the game, you might as well just wait. But do not expect any explaination from the crafting quest other than what the npc say they do. 

You can also pick them now to see what you can really do (you can always change them, but you loose every progress).

Things I use regulary (but I rather only craft what I need myself, not for sale), is forge keeper and soul warden. Buff food/potions are handy as well, that is just a personal thing of what I already got ;)
