Should i upgrade my acc before feb 8?

Hi, I'm wondering if I should lvl up my acc, which are at true siren (on alt) and aweakened oath on my main. In the note, they write this

New users will obtain the new Sterling/Ivorymoon accessories through epic quests, while existing characters will keep their current accessories. 

But there is nothing about upgrading current accessories after patch. I mean i would rather not stay on true siren till i get legendary acc.. That would mean a huge loss in overall stats before getting to legendary acc.

Don't upgrade anything, Just wait for the patch
