Dreadtide Weapons?

I heard dreadtide weapons were removed for whatever reason, but some people are saying it's just a problem with loot tables and they will drop once it is fixed, so what's the actual deal with them? The skin's really cool and I'd like to get one for my BM without spending like 300g x_x

Dreadtide Arena used to have a dynamic quest, which was responsible for the weapon drop. When that dynamic quest was removed, the weapon went down with it.
