Buying A GPU

Yooo guys! So now that it's Xmas i decided to upgrade my ancient gpu -Asus 6670-!!! So i wanted your opinion about which one to buy so i can play on high settings in B&S, coz now its impossible i am on 2+opt for combat, and ofc on other games like AC , RoTR etc! My cpu is an intel i5 6500 , and my mobo is an msi z170A m5!! Soo any suggestions?:3 I can go with older models too like Hd7950 or gtx 770 and so on!!

Sell your i5 6500 and z170 mobo

Get a i5 2500k or i7 2600k with z77 mobo, overclock it to 4,4 Ghz and you are fine!

In europe you can buy used bundles for 150 euro, so its no big deal.

On the other hand, you can sell only your i5 6500 and buy a i5 6600k, but its more expansive.

But all in all you need a k-model cpu.

 

I could run bns at 60 fps with a 8800 GTS 512mb. That gpu was released 2007.

 

You need cpu power power power ;)

Change your cpu to i5-6600k. Get a nice cpu cooler and overclock it to 4,2Ghz. For GPU : RX470 4GB, RX480 8GB or GTX 1060 6GB.

Well , what i don't understand is why i should change my cpu if my mobo recognizes it as an K model? ( on bios it shows it as an unlocked model :/ ) Plus i think that atm ny problem is my gpu :/ not cpu
