Pinchy drops only 3 essences

I've been wondering whether it might be a bug that Pinchy only drops a maximum of 3 essences, instead of 5 like every other field boss.

This has been very frustrating for me, especially since the droprate for the hat seems to be abysmal.

As far as I know, Pinchy's always dropped 3 essences but then again, I've only been playing for about a month.

Maybe it has always been a bug? :O

I don't know but I too have always gotten 1 - 3 so I do not think it is a bug.
