will Transfert between servers affect our ingame ping?

Greetings everyone

probably like everyone will do , which is switch to windrest

personally i think it doesn't have anything to do with our ping , since all of the Eu servers are located in the same place

but someone told me no it does and once i switch i will get a higher ping ( depending on the location of the new server )

so i decided to get some opinions about this.

Since they're all based in same area, it wouldn't change your ping. It's literally like they are strapping 3/4 servers together into one. Like stacking boxes in the same room on-top of each other, but instead merging them together. 

 

I'm also planning to switch to Windrest since I am very disappointed with the servers in the group I'm moving to and they haven't taken factions into account. If they are keeping the servers in the same facility then your ping will be the same. The only way it will be changed is if they move the server to a completely different area.

Don't worry ping will remain shit.

it shouldn't hurt your ping but with more players around it will  hurt your FPS
