Laptop, lag help :(

So I am having issues with my laptop, people keep saying I should just buy a Pc.. yes i know, but this is all I have for now.
For the first month playing, I had 0 issues. Ran perfectly.
But now, I am having fps drops, sometimes to the point of DC.
And at one point my laptop was heating right up, 82C. As i am not really tech savvy.. at all.. I did the basic stuff lol virus can, defrag, changed
the battery options to Power4Gear High Performance (I read that some where lol).
The laptop now sits on a cooling pad and the temp has dropped down to 71C and stays there while
playing BnS.

I play on lowest settings with everything and everyone turned off, optimize for combat. I have tried the
Optimize for low end 800x600.. same result.
My internet sits at 36.08Mbps, which is reasonable for where I live.

I bought this laptop as a refurbish, it has almost nothing on it except BnS and  a few files. I am starting to think this laptop just
can't handle the game. Although I have been told it should just fine.

The game some times becomes almost unplayable, even at Blackwyrm it's crazy.

Other people have said it's a ping problem as it's around 230 but it was always that even when it ran
fine.
Any help will be appreciated!

You're sure it's using the GPU (Geforce) and not the iGPU (Intel HD)?
