FM: Is there passive/auto freeze mechanism?

Hope somebody can explain these:

 

During pvp arena, I notice my enemy sometimes randomly got freezed when they hit me.

For example:

-during the heat of battle a destroyer grabbed and start headbutting my beloved FM

-the first three headbutt he do it while walking to bring me out of my divine veil

-then suddenly he get freeze status, which means I only need to press 1 to break free and stun him

-There is no cold snap area to make it clear

 

So, is this a glitch? bug? Or is there any passive skill which trigger this? Or maybe 2 stack of chill can randomly turn to freeze?

This happen many times which usually can be noticed easilly when being grabbed...

You mean if I have frost orbits, anyone hit me will get chill/freeze?

This is main idea, yes. Always have at least one of those when you fight melee classes.
