Chapter 11 A Welcoming Shot

So i got this quest it says to Look around Merchants square ive been looking around for an hour or so and cant find anything here, theres no item in my inventory or npc to talk to ive googled and this has 0 results on this quest it would be nice to know what the hell im supposed to be doing or maybe the quest is broken.

I just followed Yu Chun by going to the same direction he was (north, towards the big stairs) and it triggered a cutscene. Didn't even bother looking around merchants to progress the story.
