Ping boost is authorized ?

Hi, 

 

I play on EU server and i've see some thread where people use WTFast or any software to "boost" their ping. 

 

But i've see than some people banned for using this and unbanned after. 

 

Now is it possible to use this ? 250ms is too high to play on this game and this software can be good for me.

It's not illegal, you can use it.  Any bans are accidental, but an accidental ban can happen since gameguard apparently just auto-bans people for suspicious activity, and a lot of bots use VPNs to mask their IP.  I don't think people get wrongfully banned JUST for using WTFast, though, it's probably a combination of suspicious applications and/or gameplay habits. 

 

It's not supported, though, which means it will likely be difficult to set up and NCSoft isn't going to help you if the game doesn't work right with it or if an update breaks it.
