what do i do when my attacks are blocked/resisted

so i main FM and it seems every class has a way to start blocking or resisting all my attacks for a duration of time and i don't know what it is and what to do against it, sometimes i even die because i get stunned when i attack someone. this isn't a salty post or anything im just wondering what the counterplay to this is

Wait for the current skill to end (sword circling a Blade Dancer, 5 seconds / Blade Dancer's Vortex spin) or see if the enemy is vulnerable to something else. Another clue is not to attack a Summoner holding a dandelion

 

Just pay attention to when the resists happen and remember it. Learning each class' strengths and weaknesses takes time.
