Bottlenecked Dungeon Drops?

I've been trying to farm for the Pugilist outfit in The Playpen, and noticed a fishy trend. After about 5 tries or so, the boss will only drop a health item (1 dumpling or 1 healing tonic) and the standard soul shield box drop. I have no clue if it's just bad luck or if there's actually an issue here, but after 27 runs last night and 8 thus far today, I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with getting the same standard drop every time.

Thoughts?

It is bad luck man, a few days ago I got the outfit on the first run on my force master... btw you can also drop the yes-man costume, the red one with all the spikes.

Yeah, I got it a few runs after I posted this. Haha. Odd drop patterns in this game though, I got the Dark Pirate King outfit (I have a female character) in my second run of that new boss... thanks rngesus. My friend who's a male Gon really wants it too.

You miss the actual point.

 

There is NO pattern - it's random

Pretty much all the outfit drops at >1% chance.
