Is it possible to merge servers in the (far) future?

I think it would be normal for any mmo after couple of months, some servers may be deserted and may need to merge.

 

Is it technically possible to do merge for this game?  

What about other servers?(JP, KR, CN)? Do they ever merge any servers yet?

Yes, KR had some server merges in the past but i'm not sure about the other versions. Should be possible here too in the future if necessary.

It is actually easier in games like this, where you can't have duplicate names in different servers, region bound.
