Wardrobe - How does it work?

I understand you can store all costumes there and all...but what after membership is over? Does it get locked with all outfits? Are the outfits returned? Do we still have access to outfits placed there but cannot add anything else?

The outfits remain in there and you can take them out, but you cannot place any in.

No, wardrobe is per character.
