Yet again another FPS question (Low FPS)

Hi,

 

I am sure you've seen the number of threads with users complaining about their FPS issues; let me add to that (and maybe learn what my PC should be capable of doing). Firstly I am playing on a gaming laptop (not a monster rig by any means): i7-4710HQ with a GTX860M, 8 GB of RAM and an HDD (defragged). I've tried many different settings and solutions found online (unpark CPU, use Nvidia Inspector, turn VSync on, etc...) and I can't seem to get 60 FPS. I tried with the lowest settings possible (all 1, everything disabled, windowed, 800x600) and still only got 40ish FPS. I am making sure I am using the GPU instead of integrated graphics, although I still suspect my issue to be related to it. Is my laptop's limit 40ish FPS or should I be expecting more out of it? I am off to bed now and will answer any questions you have for me in the morning.

It has an option that limits its FPS, set it to 120 it will work.

using the latest drivers? anyway to completely disable the integrated graphics?
