  1. We are still going to be on the same server as we are now.  Something about lipstick and porcine smackers comes to mind.  Regardless, we're all going to continue to be beta testers.

So... why are we forced to use the new launcher? It randomly defaults to NA for EU players, it download language files no one wants since it just bloats the HDD/SSD, it doesn't even work for a lot of people, and for some people it just straight up deleted the game forcing them to redownload the entire thing... I've yet to see anyone complimenting the thing, you could've at least fix SOME of the huge problems with it before forcing us to use this crap...

lol, we've been beta testers since launch.  Same old same old.

  3. This is probably just talking in deaf ears but a tiered approach would seem to be one solution as well.  Divide the channels into AP tiers.  Only allow characters with a certain range of HM lvl into each channel.  Change the boss HP appropriately for each tier.  Maybe update the loot table for each as well.  No more gorillas competing against you until you get to the top tier (at that point you've evolved into a gorilla yourself).  Don't know how much work it would be to implement but couldn't be that hard.

  4. If you got an email confirmation I'd assume you would get the package as well.  I'm not sure if that code is time limited but if it is you might be out of luck or you might have to ask customer support.  Sorry I couldn't help any further.

  5. There are many traps in BnS.  NC relies on them to generate revenue or use to control the game economy.  From trove to your example.  And you are correct, the game explains very little and expects you to go out and find it yourself.  Some might say this is intentional as it forces you to ask others (social interaction) but could also be seen as ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ port game design.  Either way, unless you've been with the game for a considerable time these kinds of things can bite you on the ass.  NC will eventually implement a mentoring system (when is up in the air) and that might change things for the better or allow more directed questions between new players and veterans.  But notice that this will still require you to ask another player and not NC.  They are not players after all (and it shows after every update).

Currently, BT drops nothing, VT drops blackstones and TT drops silver scales. No doubt this trendwill continue onward.

VT is the gear level that it starts to use silver scales, and TT is when it eats blue scales for breakfast. Especially if you go non-raid path which consume an even larger amount of respective materials.

By the time people run VT, they don't actually need more blackstones, but silver scales. There are now five dungeons that drop blackstones from NS to HH. Same with TT, where players need a lot of onyx scales instead of silver scales, and silver scales are now abundant with guaranteed drops from four dungeon from DD to Shadowmoor. Yeah, I know that for first few weapon stages, you still need materials from previous tier (blackstone for VT 1-6, silver scales for GC 1-6...), but by the time you hit the bottleneck (a brief while with VT6-9, and TT 6-9), you should have enough resources of blackstone/silver scales already.

If anything, the change would benefit new players. Assuming a new players join this game and start to working his way starting BT, then extra blackstones from BT will help them save a few dozens of dungeon runs/week. Same with VT and silver scales. Most importantly is for TT-gear players, cuz there are now too many things that eat blue scales. While blue scales will inevitably becomes abundant, just like what happens to blackstone and silver scales, I think dropping scales/stones according to what players need on that gear level will make those materials from raid more meaningful to players' gear progression.

Stop making sense.  You'll just scare them.  BTW you can also add that DKV still drops regular gem hammers.  :giggle:

  7. For the Ancestral badge you need to fuse a Blue Moon and Courage badge.  You can buy these badges from the dragon express for solar energies or or buy the correct fragments off the marketplace.  You could also run TOI and exchange the currently dropped fragments but it's a pain.   You will also need 5 divine grace stones, 10 ts and 1 ptst.  For the Aransu badge you can either run VT and bid on the badge material box (frost burn orb), buy it from the marketplace or get it from the Merchant of Wonder (fairly rare).

Eh... I'm really behind on the gems department for all my characters. I could use any boost I could get there.

Quick tip, combine all your gems together and upgrade as high as you can and keep the result.  Mail that set between your characters.

as seen in stream, the "gems" tab will disappear from the Dragon express with the update of the 15
Therefore, does anyone know what become "Hongmoon Heptagonal gem ticket, octogonal,..." "which can only be used in this tab
especially as the current event allows you to buy them
I haven't seen the answer in tweets, and I don't have an account to ask for by myself

They stated in the stream they will be converting the gem tickets to gem boxes

  10. If the game loses 4k players it will close down shortly afterwards.  Hyperbole?  Perhaps, but the reason for the recent server mergers given means there were not enough players at a high enough level to even consider doing ET so they had to be moved to the same server.  How many of them use buddy?  Probably a very high percentage.  How many of them spend a health amount of rlm on the game?  Likely a great deal.  Now  let's ban them all.  Houston, we have a problem.  For this reason alone you can bet the farm that there are not going to be any banning going on for using this program.

Just wondering... The companies doing Thai server is NC or not? I know there is one server at Thailand right? (Thai language)

How about Russia server? NC too?

So  actually how many servers do they have?

Besides Korea, there are separate servers in Russia, Japan, Vietnam and China.  But they are not in English and not a part of NCWest which only has servers in NA and EU.  Garena out of Vietnam is the one publishing Thai BnS content.

Questions. Did the game start faster before? Did you add a new anti virus that is not windows defender/security essentials? Is your computer loaded to the brim with start up programs? is the game on a slow 5400 rpm HDD? A faster 7200/10000 rpm drive? Or in a solid state drive?

All of those and some more can slow down game start up and overall performance. It's important to make it easy for the PC to handle the game. More when this gave has bad optimization issues.

To add to this, did windows update since the last time you played?

  13. That is exactly how nc works on initial purchases due to previous scamming attempts.  Whether it's customer friendly is certainly debatable, but it's simply a fact that that is how they do business now.  I guess it's up to you if you want to continue to do business with them but they are not going to change their policies.  Everyone on this boards has seen this happen time and again and knows how nc does business and responds to it's customers.  In some cases they make exceptions but that is fairly rare whale territory.

and im about to fill out a fraud report so if none get ahold of me they are not going to keep my money with nothing to show for it\

If you stop payment on your purchase it's almost certain that your account will be banned.  It's basically automatic when dealing with nc.
