Newish player question

Hello, I recently came back to the game to start from zero with some friends and I have some questions:

 

1- Where are we supposed to get certain accesories like Soul, Pet, Talisman and Heart? Do we get them from main quest or should we buy them from the specific npc and upgrade them from scratch?

2- My friends love collecting outfits, is there anywhere specific to obtain old outfits or should we just run older dungeons and pray for the drops? 

3- After completing Main Quest with the drops from it and soul boost items, will we be ready to start running the stage 2 soul boost quests or should we wait and upgrade our items?

you get everything you need from story, don't upgrade anything before you have finished it, check the rewards for soulboost, do the quests  and get even better gear from it
