Weapon unable to Evolve

HA! This will sound really stupid but:

 

Did you shift + left click the weapon in your inventory or you clicked on the other thing to open your upgrade window?

You need to shift+left click, the other option doesnt work, i had a friend who had the same issue, took us a while to figure this out xD
