Can't get past character screen since update...?

When I open bns i click play, it opens up and once i get to the character selection screen it INSTANTLY closes out and a small window pops up saying this: 

BnSCrashReport

 

An error has occured in your blade and soul client. 

An error report has been made regarding the status of the installed blade and soul client, your hardware configuration, the DDL list loaded to the memory and data relevant to other client errors. 

 

Do you want to send this report to NCsoft?

I am having the same issue as well.  It's an issue with the 64bit client (launches by default).  I bypassed this problem by simply clicking on settings in the launcher and telling it to launch the 32bit client while I wait for the dev team to sort out the 64bit issues :p (yes, I tried several of the suggested solutions by other forum users and none of them worked).
