MSP) Game freezing during 16m aoe

I've never really lagged too much even during weekend SSP, but everytime the boss in MSP is about to do the 16m poison aoe, my game freezes for good 20-30 seconds. I've tried lowering all of the graphics to 1 but still didn't really help. 

 

anyone else experiencing this issue??? or am I the only one..
