how do you see it , is it only on 4man dungeons?

if so how was my partymate able to share the "combat record" after both bosses on cs

The DPS meter is enabled in 4 man dungeons and in solo instances only. And only during boss fights. you can share the result by pressing the little arrow on top of the dps meter.
