Servers merging question.

When Ncsoft merged 3 servers... They all were running on a diffrent machines, and now they are all working on one? Is it the cause of all the dc's me and my friends are getting? Like... im wondering if ncsoft will fix that, because the server is overpopulated now [at least for windrest]
