How do I get a soul?

I am lvl 50HM2 and still have not seen or been told how to get a soul. Can anyone help me with this? (I am not talking about soul stones, those I know about.)

You can either farm Naryu Labirinth for 80 gooey green relic drops and trade in for a soul that will have to be upgraded, or you can buy 3 pieces of the Broken Oathbreaker sword, the blade point, the false edge and one other piece can't recall right now. This soul will not need to be upgraded. You might want to wait for the prices to come down after the Soul Fighter craze. It was about 70-80 gold all told before it.

you can also get a stage 1 hongmoon soul from heavens mandate. it costs 250 feathers though
