[v2.1.63.512] [B] -Quest: 'Atop a lonely mountain' can be advanced skipping previous steps

Description: While doing chapter 30: Atop a lonely mountain" it can be observed that if the user is dieing after Killing Yehang he can progress the story further than intended leading the user in a zone where he cannot complete the quest nor return to complete the previous steps.

 

Please note that the entire quest line can be restarted by loging off and on again which will put the user outside the previous area.

 

Observed: Due to previous steps not being completed the next chapter does not trigger ( chapter 31: Relics of the past),  the user cannot summon Baekmuki's ghost from the nearby remains resulting in the user to be stuck in the zone without any means of escape or return.

Expected: The dragon pulse behind Yehang is not active until previous steps are being completed

Repro steps:

 

1. Create any character of any class on the english test server

2. Grant yourself the quest FQN

"Act 4: Chapter 30: Atop a lonely mountain"

3. kill the 7 soliders and Yehang and take the dragon pulse to the next area

4. jump off the edge until and dive down  untill the  death volume activates and revive

5. skip the mobs and skip the mini boss Yehang by walking on the right hand side of the zone without drawing aggro.

6. Take the dragon pulse and jump on the platforms until the next quest zone

7. take the second dragon pulse to Jiwan house and observe that the story quest can be progressed without previous steps being completed.

8. Observe that due to previous steps not being completed the next chapter does not trigger ( chapter 31: Relics of the past) and the user cannot summon Baekmuki's ghost from the nearby remains resulting in the user to be stuck in the zone without any means of escape or return.
