Why I have only 1 socket for gem?

Hi guys, I have a problem pls help. I have only 1 socket for gem in my weapon, my friends with lower weapon have 2-3 socket I have only 1. Why? Pls help Thank You

You started your character after the latest update (April 27th), and your friends - before that. They have fixed the problem people had with losing a bought 4th socket when going on the Oathbreaker path by making you to not loose sockets but you now only get one for free, when before you got 3.
