cavern fungus, trading in

So i have some cavern fungus, but cant find a place to trade it for the nebula stones.

 

I have found it in the dragon express, but that is in the premium member section and i am not about to spend $90 just for that when im already buying brilliant keys and pouches.

 

Am I misunderstanding the description on this event?  If not then what good is the fungus?

There are tabs within the dragon express, click on the fourth tab which is accecable to F2P and you'll see the list of items available for fungus
