Fiery block in dungeons

I get it is not wanted to join boss fights when you enter too late. I am ok with having the fire sea blocking the path but WHY there is a core attacking if you go too close to the fire! ._. I have died more often to the core than anything else in the game. Is there any possibility that the core within the fiery hell could be removed? What do you guys think?
