Terrarist
As the titles states I'm in need of a new power supply cable to continue on my B&S path. I came home only to find my friend's pet chewed right through it. Fortunately there was no power running in my house at the time being due to renovations, but that still leaves me without a powersupply cable to start my PC. I'm currently typing this up from behind my laptop. So I'm no PC-expert but will any powersupply cable do just fine to replace my old/damaged one? My PC currently has a "Cooler Master B700 v2" PSU model installed which can generate up to 700 Watt. What power supply cable would be a good match for the abovementioned PSU "Power Supply Unit"? Any info, tips, links, feedback regarding this topic are more than welcome! Thanks in advance for reading this! Sincerely
orianthi
you dont need anything 'special' desk top PC's only require a generic 3 pin power cable, you can get one from any computer store or online very cheap. they are also known as 'kettle' cables, as they also fit most domestic kettles so any decent domestic appliance store will also have them. depending on which country you are in the 'wall' plug could be different but the plug to the PC will be the same. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/1m-UK-Mains-Power-Cable-C13-Kettle-Lead-Moulded-3-pin-Power-Lead-PC-TFT-LCD-IEC/301354340990?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&_trksid=p5197.c100068.m2280&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140211130857%26meid%3Dc92fad8b6efc4b9fb3947f6782155381%26pid%3D100068%26clkid%3D4590457620517387508&_qi=RTM2063723 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cables-Go-Universal-Power-Cord/dp/B002CZQ3FW/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1460209892&sr=8-6&keywords=amazon+pc+power+cable
Terrarist
So any generic 220v power supply cable will suffice? No 230V needed for my power supply unit? I ask because there's a label saying 230V. Also, I'm from The Netherlands, Europe! Thanks for the swift reply :)
