Question about HM lvls with new update

So I can't get on BNS right now since I'm in class, but I want to know what happens with our HM skills since the lvl change has been pushed to 50. Do we still have our HM lvling or does it reset to normal lvling? I just want some clarification since on my WL I was almost at HM 2.

Your HM level is kept as it was when you were 45 and will normally return identically when you ding 50.
