Force Master vs. Slashimi

I'm wondering if there is any way for a Force Master to hit Slashimi once he is charging at you after his hot water attack. From what I've collected after running the dungeon about a dozen times is that FMs are unable to hit him out of his charge attack. Can someone confirm or explain how it's done?

You can do it with Firestorm Tier 3 FOrm 2 (deflects attacks for 0.5) but the timing has to be excellent

Just sit on top of him and hit tab in fire stance, it isn't that hard.

Timing doesn't have to be excellent, just standing around 4m from him and use it as soon as he starts moving.

It's a little awkward compared to other classes but it's very easy.
