Blade dancer ground counter

So I've experienced this three times so far and I honestly have no idea if it's how it should be or now. In arena I came across some BD's, I'm a KFM. I bait out their tab and anything else, I get a knockdown on them then use tremor which has defense and parry penetration and stun them. To be honest, I don't see them use their ground counter at all but maybe they did although it shouldn't really matter, they get stunned and the animation is shown that they are indeed stunned. Then the second I go in to make an attempt to attack on the stunned BD I get countered, they break out of stun and that's it. Unable to do anything about it and I get fcked over. I would like to believe this isn't what's supposed to happen since it's a bit ridiculous but I just want to make sure if anyone knows.
