Getting used to a graphics tablet?

What's up guys, I picked up a graphics tablet today and I'm having a lot of trouble getting used to it. Any tips or exercises I can use to help get accustomed to it? I feel like I just started using a mouse for the first time again. It's a little awkward.

Just keep at it, in time you'll get used to it.

There's no real tips anyone can give you, maybe just use it as you would when drawing on normal paper, but looking at the screen ?  (unless you have a cintiq)
