Hidden benefits in skills?

I was wondering if anyone have some sort of list which describes the hidden benefits of the summoner skills.

Etc the "House Cat" ability significantly increases your cats HP.

Currently I'm lost, since I just discovered this from another thread, and was really curious if any other skills did something 'behind the scenes' :)

If you mean the cat stats thread that's really about it. The only other real thing that's vague in descriptions would be anything that mentions "Resist Damage" typically comes with some invulnerability frames (Like talenting into Beckoning), and Deep Wounds is a Healing Received Debuff (so mostly just a pvp skill-- not really worth going for it for PvE purposes).

 

Also Thorn Strike Poison is the same thing as "Ivy Poison" that comes from both 1 and 2 talents from "Weed Whack" applications. If you want you can get multiple ways to apply "Ivy Poison" debuff, but it can only apply one at a time. So if you're opting to take multiple forms of Ivy Poison application, its best to rotate them. The DoT timer for Ivy Poison is 10 seconds.
