bippity-bump. does anyone know why in the hell he calls himself that? i think a few other NPCs refer to him as yuk gisan as well.

Don't worry too much about this thing it's just kinda part of the whole issue of NCwest's translation/localization issue....

oh damn, i didn't even think about that. i thought maybe there was some quest info i missed or a backstory there. whoops.

It's actually pretty annoying there's so many translation inaccuracies right now... some names are just not consistent between like the npc name title and then speech bubbles (yehara and then ye harang)... and some items have different names (raw iron and iron ore), I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of that work at the moment and i really hope they fix those things soon.

 

And this isn't even mentioning how much of the original MAIN story they changed, and I'm NOT talking about the so-called "inappropriate" side quests. Or the unhelpful and inept skill translations.

I still remember being pissed because there wasn't a sealed corrupted lynblade on the entire server.

 

Then I was given one with the wrong name, unsealed it, and it was a corrupted lynblade. Someone just screwed up the translation for the sealed word. I wasted THIRTY RUNS SEARCHING FOR THE SEALED CORRUPTED LYNBLADE.

 

Ah well. That's life.
