obsession for blackwyrm and ogre

i checked out the items that can drop from the blackwyrm chest, fashion and the best gems in the game. they are good stuff but is the current obsession over them justifiable? i feel like spending hours farming blackwyrm chests and keys from ogre is not very efficient.
